Staff WriterWith all that fuzz around the opening of the Olympics in Sochi, a few people might have forgotten that some individuals were not allowed to compete. The reasons are absurd and although we might want to argue and fight about it, I think, it’s best to let the Russian politicians do their thing. We should stand up for our rights, yes, but we should also try and make the best out of the laws, while we can. That exact thing is what Norway used to promote in the Olympics. They made the best out of their laws, and released a video called “XXL Airport Love” to promote the Olympics. In the video, you can follow a pretty brunette woman getting to the airport, going through security, and getting onto a plane. Around her, sportsmen--who clearly admire her looks and throw a crazy performance including actions from various styles of sports around her--follow her out, only to see her greet a blond woman with a not-so-innocent kiss on the lips, leaving all the men with open mouths. In the end, the slogan: “Whatever team you play for” – “XXL All Sports United”. The video now, after only four days, has over 94.000 views on it and it’s not the only pro-gay propaganda that was made public right before and because of Sochi. You can view more here. What do you think? Do you like the sneaky way of Norway to promote the currently most viewed sports attraction? Let us know in the comments!
