Influenced by the likes of Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Florence and The Machine among others, New York based singer-songwriter Chetti has big ambitions.
Having attended Wagner College’s Theatre Performance Program, she has long since had a passion for the arts and having earned herself a fan-base thanks to EP In The City, she’s well on the way to establishing herself as an artist to keep an eye on.
On stage, she's to date opened shows for the likes of Gossip Girl actress turned singer Leighton Meester, while later this month she'll perform as part of the Columbus Day celebrations on October 12, an event that will be covered by ABC.
Her most recent track is a cover of Justin Bieber's "What Do You Mean?" and features singer-songwriter Daniel Miz. The track is almost acoustic, with a simple piano rhythm and so both Chetti and Miz are able to show off their vocal talents, especially when they harmonise like they've been performing together for years. It's balladesque and emotive, hard to resist swaying to and a refreshing change from the flurry of the more rock-style bands who have dominated the charts in recent months.
There's a passion in Chetti's voice that makes her a talent deserving of being heard around the world, as highlighted in her original track "#MADEINBKLYN". With any luck, she and her music will continue to reach the ears of music fans everywhere and she will go on to have the career she's working so hard for.
