The social networking world went crazy last week with the announcement of who would play the coveted roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the motion picture adaptation of the Best Selling Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy.
The roles went to Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson, which didn’t go over so well with fans. But it seems that Hollywood cares little for who we all had in mind as fellow actors are coming out of the woodwork to show their support of the two lucky stars.
His former colleague playfully joked about her previous experiences with Hunnam in the movie Deadfall are sure to help him in the role as Christian Grey.
In a recent interview with E! News the starlet said, “I’d like to think that our love scenes sort of prepared him for this experience.”
Wilde also spoke about the fans mixed reviews on the casting saying: “Audiences should just shut up and wait to be surprised, wait to be delighted.”
Hunnam has previously said that he finds the role of Grey to be an “exciting challenge,” and says that he isn’t nervous about filming the sex scenes.
He has also wanted to make sure fans knew that there is definitely chemistry with Dakota Johnson, who will be playing Anastasia.
So as advised by Miss Wilde, we shall all wait to be surprised and delighted by Charlie and Dakota’s performances on August 1, 2014 when the film is released.
