Google Glass, known as the smart pair of glasses with photograph and video capabilities, will be available to purchase in the US, but get your money ready because it will only be available to the general public for one day. This Tuesday (April 15th), Google will sell the smart glasses for a whopping $1,500 and will only sell a limited amount.
Google Glass is proving to be useful to various industries, including hospitals. Doctors are finding the new technology to be widely helpful through surgeries. The US Air Force has been recently known for using it in the field. Even the NYPD are making an attempt to incorporate the specs into everyday work.
While they’ve proven useful to specific work places, the glasses haven’t exactly been a big general consumer interest because of their expensive price tag, limited resources, and prototype period. With the glasses going available April 15th, maybe it will spark a Google Glass craze. Are you intrigued by Google’s newest venture?
