One Direction, Lorde And Fergie To Perform At 2014 AMAs

Lorde, One Direction, and Fergie to perform at this year’s AMAs, along with Mary J. Blige, Sam Smith, 5 Seconds of Summer, and Charlie XCX.

Fangirls and music lovers everywhere will surely be satisfied with this year’s lineup of performances at the 2014 American Music Awards (AMAs).

Earlier this month, performances by Mary J. Blige,  Sam Smith, 5 Seconds of Summer, and Charlie XCX were confirmed. Yesterday, a few more artists were added to the official lineup: Lorde, One Direction, and Fergie.

Can we just take a minute for my Fergalicious, One Direction-loving heart to calm down?

Okay, now that I’m done screaming…

The American Music Awards air live on ABC on Sunday November 24, 2014 and will be hosted by Mr. Worldwide, aka Pitbull, for the second year in a row.

With six nominations, including Artist of the Year, Iggy Azalea has racked up the most noms and probably won’t go home empty handed. Lorde received four nominations, two of which include Artist of the Year and Favorite Female Artist – Pop/Rock.

I think I’m most excited to see Sam Smith perform. If I had it my way, the AMAs would turn into a mini Sam Smith concert, and he’d walk away with all the awards (or at least the two that he’s up for – New Artist of The Year and Favorite Male Artist – Pop/Rock).

Let us know who you’re most excited to see perform and who you think will win big!
