Congrats are in order! Last nigh,t Jamie Lynn Spears took to Twitter to make a very important announcement…she’s engaged! She shared photos of her new bling via Instagram, and we have to say we’re jealous! What a rock!
Jamie Lynn, 21-year-old sister of superstar Britney Spears, is set to marry Jamie Watson, 30. Spears and Watson have reportedly been dating for three years, and he finally popped the question after months of marriage talk. Jamie Lynn was previously engaged to Casey Aldridge, the father of her adorable 4-year-old daughter Maddie. The two split for good in 2010.
This happy news for Jamie Lynn comes just months after older sister Britney Spears announced that things were over between her and her now-ex fiancé, Jason Trawick. Britney enthusiastically congratulated her sister via Twitter, saying that she is “so excited and happy.”
So, this begs the question…is Jamie Lynn going to adopt her fiancé’s last name? Because let’s be real, that could get kind of confusing!
