Warning

: Spoilers lie ahead if you've never seen the HBO series or read the books. If you plan on doing so at some point in future, turn back now! American rapper and singer/songwriter Kellee Maize has done something pretty cool in tribute to Game Of Thrones. Maize wrote a song called "In The Night," dedicating it to fire-born queen, Daenerys Targaryen, and her love for late husband Khal Drogo. I'm a huge fan of Dany myself; she's a powerful female character and one of my all-time favorites. In the music video parody, Maize portrays Dany in various scenes, with the song lyrics (most of which are rapped) highlighting Daenerys' quest to reign a peaceful kingdom as she makes her way towards King's Landing. For those of you who aren't familiar with Game Of Thrones, here's a little background on Daenerys. She was sold to Khal Drogo, the violent leader of an equally violent tribe, by her older brother, who was willing to anything in his own pursuit of power. Although at first Daenerys was forced to submit to Khal Drogo because of tradition and the language barrier between them, she eventually took charge of their relationship and earned his respect. The two of them soon fell in love. Now, she is leading an army known as The Unsullied as Khaleesi (a queen), and her goal is to reclaim the Iron Throne she believes was stolen from her father, which several families are also fighting to control. Not to mention, she has three fire-breathing dragons who obey her every word (well...to some extent). Listen to Maize's "In The Night" below!
