Want To Know When Tatiana Maslany Will Once Again Grace Your TVs?
Okay, so we don’t know exactly when Orphan Black will be returning for its second season. I know, I know, how could I bate you like that? Well, it’s not a lie – Tatiana Maslany will definitely be gracing our TVs soon!
Maslany, the critically acclaimed Canadian actress who stars (playing seven separate roles) in BBC America’s Orphan Black, will be making a comedic guest appearance this fall. To be specific, she’ll have a two-episode guest arc on NBC’s Parks & Recreation.
The actress will play a love interest for the romantically challenged Tom Haverford (Aziz Ansari) in episodes five and six of the popular comedy’s sixth season. The precise nature of her role is being kept under wraps for now, so unfortunately that’s all we know for the time being. But I guess this means Mona Lisa (Jenny Slate) is finally out of the picture for poor Tom?
Tatiana Maslany is nowhere near the only high-profile guest star we can expect to see on Parks & Recreation this coming season. Confirmed stars include Kristen Belle, Sam Eliott, Heidi Klum, and Henry Winkler.
Now, you might be asking yourself if Tatiana Maslany is cut out for comedy, given her award-winning turn in the drama Orphan Black. Rest assured, though; the girl knows her stuff. As a matter of fact, Maslany has been involved in improv for most of her life. “I was on the improv team in high school, and after I graduated I joined an improv company that had been established 10 years prior to me getting there. They did longform improv and I fell in love with it.”
I’m not sure about you, but I’m pumped to see Tatiana Maslany flex her comedic muscles!
Parks & Recreation returns to NBC on September 26 with a special London episode
