In-House Nutritionist Simone Gloger from Dukan Diet (Jennifer Lopez, Gisele Bundchen and Kate Middleton) provides these tips for tonight:
Eat Strategically: Before a red carpet event, eat nothing but lean protein for 2-3 days (Choose lean chicken, grilled fish, eggs and shrimp). This will rev up metabolism, decrease water retention and have you looking extra lean in your Oscars dress!
Soak That Body. After numerous punishing pre-carpet workouts it’s time for a little relaxation with a purpose! Add one cup of Epsom salts and some baking soda into a hot bath and lie there for 15-20 minutes. This bath will draw water out of your cells—intense exercise can cause muscles to hold onto water as they heal themselves.
Cut Out Dairy. This food group is one of the hardest for the body to digest—dairy causes bloating, acne and dark circles under the eyes in a lot of people, leaving you less than camera ready!
