With the latest season having just ended, most of us are going through a Game Of Thrones withdrawal. Luckily, we have San Diego Comic-Con here to save us for a little while, quenching our thirst of behind-the-scenes quotes and tantalizing spoilers. The panel was moderated by the hilarious Rob McElhenney (It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia) and onstage we saw producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, director Michael Sapochnik (who directed both now-infamous episodes "Battle of the Bastards" and "The Winds of Winter") alongside cast members Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos Seaworth), John Bradley (Samwell Tarley), Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei), Conleth Hill (Varys), Sophie Turner ...
Despite being a lover of all things Comic-Con, I am not an avid gamer in the slightest. So when I found myself at the Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Panel at SDCC, I was intrigued by the in-depth storytelling, militaristic research, and filming process that went into the creation of such an immense game. "" 5. You're Immersed, Trusted, And Skilled In Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare, the player is the protagonist -- something that I hadn't realized could be so fascinating. Maybe it's just because I would never trust myself to fight on a spaceship to protect anyone ... ever. But, for those who are so inclined to try it out, you can run the ship. You're not...
Ash vs Evil Dead concluded its first season with an army of dedicated fans similarly to those who showed dedication to the original films - and season 2 will be no different. The cast and creators of the popular Starz series attended Ballroom 20 at San Diego Comic Con for a panel on all things Ash vs Evil Dead and we learned a little bit more about what’s to come on the sophomore season of the horror/comedy series. For starters, that Army of Darkness movie that people fawn over? Well we’ll finally get some confirmation of the events of the film. The series executive producer Rob Tapert explains, “We actually can reference [Army of Darkness] and we reference it i...
With the glorious event that is San Diego Comic Con upon us, the excitement level is at an all-time high... until the cast and creators of The Walking Dead come strolling into Hall H like they own the place. Little did we know, they did own the place, and gave us plenty of chewy morsels to feast on until the walkers and survivors come back into our lives this fall. We were able to be in Hall H live with the cast and here is what we were able to gather for you! 1. Kirkman promised that fans will not be disappointed with the season 6 finale cliffhanger answer. But as we all know, this can mean either something really horrible, or something wor...
One of the best parts of San Diego Comic Con, if you aren't lucky enough to be there in person, is the teasers, announcements, and trailers that are released about almost all your favourite fandoms. Marvel and Netflix did not disappoint, releasing new teasers and trailers for three of the most anticipated series on the horizon. The teasers were shown at the Luke Cage panel as part of an extended sizzle reel, teasing the Defenders. Full length trailers for Luke Cage and Iron Fist were also shown. ...

Ian Somerhalder graced Walker Stalker Nashville with his presence on April 10th. Somerhalder plays bad boy Damon Salvatore on The Vampire Diaries and he confirmed that he is working on his last season which brought a collective 'aw' throughout the crowd of the overbooked panel. Paul Wesley, who plays his brother Stefan on the show, was supposed to attend but he had a play begin in NY that took him away. But one Salvatore brother was enough for the ladies of Nashville. ...
The new HBO series Vice Principals and the new Robert Kirkman Cinemax series Outcast will make their world premieres at panels of the 2016 SXSW Music, Film and Interactive Festival this March, while the panel for HBO’s Silicon Valley will spotlight the upcoming third season of the hit new comedy series. On Friday, March 11th, the upcoming HBO comedy series Vice Principals starring Danny McBride and Walton Goggins, will make its world premiere at the 2016 SXSW Festival. At 8:45 p.m. in the Alamo Ritz Theater 1, a screening of the first two episodes will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers and cast. On stage ...
A couple days ago, SXSW cancelled two gaming panels, due to threats of violence from the toxic side of the Gamergate problem. The two panels were Level Up: Overcoming Harassment in Games and SavePoint: A Dicussion of the Gaming Community, which were to feature some of gaming's biggest experts on horrible online harassment as well as those expressing the importance of ethics in journalism. Gamergate has been like a wildfire that rages on, and by cancelling two very important panels as a knee-jerk reaction to threats (which go on endlessly anyway), the internet replied by lighting torches and sharpening...
On Saturday, September 26th, Wizard World Nashville hosted a Firefly panel in the Music City Center featuring Adam Baldwin and Jewel Staite. Baldwin and Staite played Jayne and Kaylee, respectively, on the fan favorite. This was my first panel ever, and I couldn't have picked a better one to attend! This panel was a fan Q&A from start to finish, and it had me in stitches. Baldwin gave fans a fun Nathan Fillion fact to start the panel off. He shared that Fillion doesn't like when fans grab his lower rib cage in photo ops and he does a little dance to get away. Staite laughed and agreed on Baldwin's impression. Fans asked where their characters would be if the show w...
No matter where the event, expos and conventions allow passionate fans to gather with other individuals from anywhere around the world to share and enjoy the mutual love and appreciation for the whichever show, film, game or comic has taken residence in a special part of their hearts. This passion was in strong form at Fan Expo Canada by the Carmilla fandom, also known as the Creampuffs, which I got to experience firsthand. ...

After first sharing details of the movie at last year's Comic-Con, acclaimed director Guillermo del Toro returned to San Diego today (July 11) to talk up Crimson Peak ahead of its October release. He was joined for the panel by the stars of the movie, Tom Hiddleston, Mia Wasikowska, and Jessica Chastain. Those in attendance were treated to a trailer, which brought together clips from those previously released, along with a few added scenes before the chat got underway. The trailer has not yet been released online, however at the Legendary booth, they did have the one below playing for fans to enjoy throughout the four-day event. ...
Earlier today during Warner Bros' huge movie panel at Comic-Con, Hall H erupted into cheers and applause as, for the first time, a new trailer for the highly anticipated Batman v Superman movie was screened. The film will see Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, having been in Metropolis at the point where Man Of Steel left off - i.e. during the climactic battle. The destruction of the city leaves him ambitiously driven to oppose Superman, played by Henry Cavill (hence the 'v' in the film title!). Jesse Eisenberg joins the cast as Lex Luthor w...
After the BBC delighted fans around the world by releasing an image from the upcoming Sherlock special, attendees at Comic-Con got an extra little surprise yesterday when a snippet of the episode was screened for them during the shows' panel. The clip was then released across social media, sending fans into a frenzy. Christina Darling (@VoodooDarling) posted on Twitter: https://twitter.com/VoodooDarling/stat...

Hough will once again act as a judge on the program, but it's not going to be as a guest--this time, it'll be permanent!
