It looks like the zombies may be returning as Paramount Pictures are currently planning a sequel to Brad Pitt’s latest movie, World War Z.
The movie (which has made $111.8 million worldwide), was originally meant to be the first in a trilogy; due to a number of unsuccessful re-shoots however, the idea was shelved.
It looks like the studio has made a massive U-turn though, as now Paramount is under the impression that there is enough material to allow Pitt to return as UN employee Gerry Lane thanks to the use of an alternate ending.
The studio has not said whether Marc Forster will be returning to direct the second installment.
