If you have been living under a rock lately and haven't caught up to what celebrities are up to these days, then good thing because things have definitely gotten out of hand with them. Its become apparent to those who do stay up with the gossip have realized that there has been an onslaught of female celebrities who are baring it all on types of social media - twitter, videos, and music- these days and has definitely started to become a problem. Most people are afraid to speak up against the issue, but it looks like Rashida Jones is finally fed up with it.
On October 19th, The "Parks & Recreation" actress took to Twitter to express her frustration with what she considers to be a trend in celebrity culture today. While she didn't seem to single out any celebrities in particular. There are probably a couple out there that come to mind: Miley Cyrus with her naked “Wrecking Ball” video or Kim Kardashian's recent skimpy bathing suit selfie. She believes that the larger issue is that we consider celebrity culture and accept it as the “norm” and just go along with it, maybe even taking that into account with our own lives. Then dialing her own rant back a bit, she said, "Also, calling on all men to show me dat a**." Good for you girl!
