Parks & Recreation star Amy Poehler is set to reprise her role as Bart Simpson’s future ex-wife, Jenda, according to EW. The episode will be called “Days of Future Future”, an obvious nod to X-Men’s upcoming film, Days of Future Past.
Poehler first visited Springfield in the season 16 episode “Future-Drama”. This season 25 episode will be set thirty years in the future. The Simpson‘s executive producer, Al Jean says that Jenda and Bart still have on-going issues, even though she is now dating a crab-like creature. While Jean refused to give much information away about the episode, it was revealed that “Bart is trying to get over his divorce and he does it in a bit of a Total Recall-type way.”
Poehler joins other mega-stars, like Daniel Radcliffe, Eva Longoria and Kristen Wiig, who will also guest star in the upcoming Simpson‘s season. “Days of Future Future” is set to air sometime next spring.
