Parliament House Claims Lil’ Kim Will Perform

Parliament House claims Lil’ Kim is set to perform tonight, but things have gotten a little…convoluted. Read on for more info.

Lil’ Kim was originally scheduled to perform at the Parliament House tonight, but if the signs are anything to judge from, something has gone wrong. Fans have been worried for a while now regarding her appearance, but the owner of the venue ensured that the performance was totally taking place.

At first, Lil’ Kim did not appear in a pre-arranged meet-and-greet with her fans on October 4. The event, scheduled to take place at The Manor in Ft. Lauderdale, was obviously scrapped, leaving a lot of fans, mostly gay ones according to TMZ, disappointed. Four days later, on October 8, she tweeted that the House would have to release a public apology to her, if she was to go on stage. Specifically, she stated that they also needed to “get their business straight”.

The owner of Parliament House, Don  Granatstein, released an official statement regarding the incident, claiming that everything was fine and the performance would take place today as planned.

“We’ve worked hard over the past couple of days make sure everything is in order. And we are ready! We’re excited. She’s excited. And this is going to be the biggest Pride we’ve ever had.”

So, here we are – it’s Saturday. No update has been given regarding the show, apart from a few fans tweeting that they were exciting to attend. For further details, we’ll just have to wait and find out.
