Exciting news for all you Little Monsters out there! Lady Gaga revealed that she has a new collaboration with RedOne on her upcoming album, ARTPOP. She made the announcement last night in an interview with French radio station Fun Radio that an upcoming track “Gypsy” was co-produced by DJ Madeon and RedOne.
Gaga talked about working with Madeon, saying that “he is absolutely wonderful. Madeon has a huge appreciation for music at such a young age. He reminds me of myself. He is infatuated with music.”
This is, of course, not Gaga’s first time working with RedOne. Her hit singles “Just Dance”, “Bad Romance”, and “Judas” are among the tracks the Grammy-winning producer collaborated with her on. The famous producer announced his plans to work with Gaga on ARTPOP last year; RedOne has said, “My intention is do the same thing which is to make history. If Gaga and I do not feel like we are not making history again then we won’t do it, but we are just having an enjoyable time doing that exactly. We both have a huge passion for music, so it will be curious to see how all of this plays out.”
Madeon has already explained to Digital Spy that Gaga is “incredible.” The superstar gave her 100% during the recording sessions, he says. Madeon explained, “In the professional world she is incredible. She would come straight out after a concert after she sang live for about three hours, she would come straight to the studio to record.”
Gaga opened the 2013 MTV VMAs last night with the first live performance of “Applause”. ARTPOP is set to release on November 11th.
