'Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' Teaser Trailer Released | Caribbean

Set sails for another great adventure with Captain Jack and his crew. Disney has released the first teaser trailer for the fifth installment of the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise.

The minute and forty nine second teaser shows us the first glimpses of new characters, fantastic special effects and load of action.

Check out the teaser trailer below:

The franchise is based on the Disney theme park attraction of the same name. The franchise started back in 2003 with Pirates Of the Caribbean: Curse of The Black Pearl. That year, we were introduced to one of the most iconic pirates to date, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp).

Originally only envisioned as just a trilogy directed by Gore Verbinski, the success of Curse of The Black Pearl led to later films in 2006 with Pirates Of the Caribbean: Dead Men's Chest and in 2007 with Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End.

Given the success of the sequels directed by Verbinski, Rob Marshall (Into The Woods) took lead as director for the fourth installment in 2011 with Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Even though Johnny Depp made a return, Orlando Bloom's Will Turner and Keira Knightley's Elizabeth Swann sat out on that adventure.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is said to re-team Jack Sparrow (Depp) and Will Turner (Bloom) as they attempt to invade on an old rival of Sparrow's, Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem).

Geoffrey Rush is set to return as Hector Barbossa while there is also new blood making way onto the ship with the addition of Brenton Thwaites (The Giver) and Kaya Scodelario (The Maze Runner) to the cast.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is slated to make way to theaters May 26th, 2017.
