A few days ago we brought you the news that our favourite college acapella girls would be back on the big screen in 2015, now it has been revealed that star Brittany Snow heard about the sequel like many of us… through Twitter.
Snow hit the red carpet on Tuesday (16 April) for the premiere of her Lifetime movie, Call Me Crazy. Speaking to the gathered press, she said “I literally found out through Twitter. I had my little secrets that people were telling me, but I didn’t really know until… somebody tweeted me that it was happening”.
OK magazine reports that Snow spoke to producers Max Handelman and Liz Banks following the announcement and they told her “Yeah we wanted to tell you for a long time but we couldn’t” to which she replied that she “hate[d] finding out through Twitter”.
Snow played Chloe Beale, one of the co-leader’s of Barden University’s Barden Bellas, in the hit 2012 film. One of the highlights from the film was her “Titanium” duet with Anna Kendrick’s character, Beca Mitchell. Snow revealed that the reason this song was not included on the film’s soundtrack was because they weren’t able to obtain the rights to it. She hopes that in the sequel she can do another song with Kendrick and that it will be released.
However, as Chloe was a senior in the film, it is unclear whether she will make an appearance in the sequel and in what capacity. At present, Snow herself isn’t saying whether she is in talks to appear. She did say that she hopes she’s in it and that “maybe people should rally together to get me in it!”.
