Pixar’s New Finding Dory Trailer Introduces A New Adventure

Twelve years after Finding Nemo charmed the masses, Pixar is returning to the coral reef for a new adventure in Finding Dory! See the new trailer here!

Twelve years after Finding Nemo charmed its way into the hearts of millions, Pixar is preparing for the release of Finding Dory. A new full length trailer has been released showing even more details than the previous trailer that came out in November. This time the story will revolve everyone’s favorite forgetful blue fish–who will embark on her own journey to find her long lost parents.

Check out the Finding Dory trailer below!

The newest trailer shows that we will get to see many familiar faces, including Nemo, Marlin, and the gang from Nemo’s school. But knowing how nice and happy Dory is when she meets someone new, it’s almost guaranteed that there will be plenty of new characters to meet that are sure to become family favorites. In this trailer alone we see lots of stingrays, turtles, a new shark and octopus. There seems to be plenty of traveling to be had in the ocean, but also a detour to some kind of indoor facility.

Ellen Degeneres returns as the adorably befuddled Dory and it is a beautiful thing to see.  Her expressive voice and genuine love of the character shines through with every word spoken.  Combined with the “Just Keep Swimming” and “Never Give Up” messages espoused during the trailer, the sequel to Finding Nemo is bound to garner a new generation of fans.  Finding Dory looks like so much fun it bound to feel like a lifetime before we get to its June 17, 2016 release date.

Along with Degeneres, Albert Brooks (Marlin) and Willem Dafoe (Gill) are tapped to reprise their roles from the first film.  New vocal talent for Finding Dory will include Diane Keaton, Idris Elba, Michael Sheen, Dominic West, Ed O’Neill, Ty Burrell, Kaitlin Olson, and Eugene Levy. If that doesn’t sound like a completely amazing cast to you, then I don’t really know what to say. The story is by Andrew Stanton and Bob Peterson who worked together on the screenplay for Finding Nemo.

Thirteen years was a heck of a long time to wait for a sequel, and I am very glad to see that this long awaited treasure will soon be out for all to see.  Are you looking forward to Finding Dory?  Let me know down below!
