With season 6 of RuPaul's Drag Race currently airing and, the casting for season 7 up and going (casting ends March 28th), I know I'm wondering who's going to be competing in this next season. My first choice, of course, would be myself (Boxxa Vine, clock the shameful self promotion), but I'm going to focus on five other girls I want to see sissy down the runway for the title of America's Next…Next Drag Superstar. So here's my look into whom I've been following and hope to see on next season.

. Heidi Glum - Washington, District of Columbia

The drag daughter of season 4 winner Sharon Needles, this queen has been referred to as the Dita Von Tesse of drag. She gained a lot of press in June of last year when she was attacked after a show in a local pizza shop as bystanders filmed it. The video quickly went viral and several news sites covered Heidi as she went through legal battles to seek justice against her attackers. This sickening queen has a very burlesque approach to drag and a very distinctive look. She's been featured in Huffington Post, graced several magazines for interviews and modeling, is the poster child of Malefic Couture, won DCs Best Drag Queen for 2013, and is the self proclaimed "evil genius, the queen of sin and supermodel of the Underworld." She's "sugar, spice, and everything not nice" and she's sure to show the world that dark is the new pink.

4. Maddelynn Hatter - New York, New York Mad as a hatter and making me want to jump through the looking glass into her world, she’s an established New York City queen with an iconic look and presence. A drag performer of six years, she’s originally a Northampton, MA performer (where Jujubee and Joslyn Fox were/are regulars) who boasts a lager then life aesthetic and talents to back it up. She makes most of her own garments and can be found all over NYC performing with RDR alumni (every Friday at BERLIN with season 6 contestant Bianca Del Rio) as well as NYC nightlife royalty like Amanda Lepore. She tours quite often and graces magazines, videos, and is a fully rounded artist as well as drag performer. She’s sure to make everyone watching want go all a little mad.

        3. Kashi Golean - Albany, New York The last thing you can say about this queen is that any part of her is small. Her talent, singing voice, and sense of comedy can slay any stage. She’s had two parody videos produced that are currently on YouTube (Bigger Then A Wrecking Ball and Overgrown Woman) with several more in production. She is the reining Miss Campy Long Island and the former Miss Gay Capital New York, which she now owns and operates. This year it is April 5th in Albany, NY with celebrity judge Detox of RDR). She represents the big girls and is ready to show the world that not only will she conquer the competition but also conquer the buffet line at the same time.

        2. Adriana Le Glam - New York, New York Rumors are a girl’s best friend and plenty flew around last year when Adriana was apparently “confirmed” by a source on the show as a season 6 contestant. Unfortunately, she was not in the official cast but the boost of rumors of her casting and several websites featuring her on unofficial cast list could do nothing but enhance this queen's chances of getting on this coming season. Based out of New York City, where over ten RDR queens have already come from, she has a solid fan base and a very fishy look. Could last season's unfortunate misguided rumors become this year’s success story?

1.Vicky Vox - Los Angeles, California If you don’t know who Vicky Vox is, then you’re living under a rock. She brings the V to the “girl” group DWV (Detox, Willam Belli, and Vicky Vox) and she has a set of pipes that could shatter a hall of mirrors. She’s Detox’s drag daughter and a former member of the band Tranzkuntinental. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Miss Vox at the NYC show DWV: Vicky Gets Her Period and I must say her talent is boundless. While she is already a highly recognized queen after the release of Chow Down at Chic-A-Fila, Boy is a Bottom, and most recently Gaycation, I want to see what this queen will do on the show. She’s proven herself as a singer, lip-syncer, and has a great sense of comedy and will undoubtedly slay whatever season she gets on.
