Staff Writerfreak accident involving an inflatable bounce house has injured three children, two seriously. On May 12th, the youngsters were playing in the small structure in South Glens Falls, NY, when a strong gust of wind lifted the house off the ground. The three dropped out of the house when it was around 15 -20 feet in the air. A 10-year-old girl suffered minor injuries while two boys, ages 5 and 6, suffered major injuries including head trauma and broken bones. One boy fell onto a parked car while the other was dropped into the street. Witnesses say the Little Tikes brand bounce house had been properly staked into the ground. The owner of the bounce house, who was not the father of the children injured, had set up the playhouse for other neighborhood children. The bounce house travelled to approximately 50 feet in the air before coming down in a nearby sports field. Authorities are not releasing the names or current conditions of the injured children, who are being treated at Albany Medical Center. One boy was reportedly awake and responsive at the scene. Our best wishes for a full recovery to all the children involved in this tragic accident. Keep Up With PopWrapped On The Web!
