Staff Writer@LO___Raine The popular pontiff accidentally added a not so holy word to the script as stumbled over the Italian word “caso,” which means “case.” Instead, the Pope mumbled, “cazzo,” which translates to “fuck” or sometimes “shit.” Either way, it is a widely recognized Italian curse. “If each one of us does not amass riches only for oneself, but half for the service of others in this fuck,” he said according to translation, before pausing and correcting himself. The Pope recovered with, “in this case the providence of God will become visible through this gesture of solidarity.” Supporters of the most popular pope in recent history have rallied behind him. Some have voiced that he is only a man while others go on to say that it is a mistake that any non-native Italian could make while reading out loud. Pope Francis is from Argentina and his native tongue is Spanish, though he also speaks Latin, Italian, Portuguese, French, German Ukrainian, and Piedmontese (a language spoken in Piedmont, an area in northern Italy).
