Bubble bubble, we’re in trouble.

Rumor has it that a script for a sequel of the classic Halloween favorite, Hocus Pocus, is making its way around Hollywood, according to a note on the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary page.

The script allegedly has the Sanderson Sisters returning from beyond the grave to cause chaos in the Big Apple as they seek revenge on the Dennison family who brought an end to their plans in Salem back in 1993.

There is no confirmation that this is an accurate summary or if there is even a real script going around for Hocus Pocus 2.

Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy have all voiced interest recently about being a part of a possible sequel. If the sequel does see the Sanderson Sisters taking over Broadway, it won’t be too difficult to draw a crowd since Midler, Parker and Najimy already have got what it takes to keep us under their spell.

It didn’t take a lot for Hocus Pocus to make us all wanna dance til we die. Seeing Winifred, Sarah and Mary making their presence known in 2014/2015 New York City will be even more magical.
