On Sunday (January 12), Game of Thrones fanatics got a taste of what to expect from the new season of this hit fantasy series. However, who could believe that we would have to endure so much suspense in a 1:44 long clip? As a side dish to all that suspense served up, there were also glimpses of the blood and gore that often makes up GoT. Furthermore, the promo hinted to tensions in the royal households.
The young King, Joffrey Baratheon, feels he’s won the war (and that his people should know it). But, his adviser disagrees. Rightly so, because it seems a new uprising will take place as we see warriors preparing for battle.
Meanwhile, Tyrion Lannister is imprisoned. By whom? It’s not clear. However, there seems a possibility that Daenerys Targaryen is the one who captures him. She does seem ready to overpower the other Kingdoms to create a dynasty.
A third group of people also prepares to battle. Who will win? It’s hard to tell? And why was a baby left in the cold? Who are its parents? Who knows? We will just have to wait and see.
The season is one filled with passion. It is not only passion for war, for blood, and for battle, it’s also a bodily, sensual passion. A union will be created between a man and woman. Couples will copulate. Yes, there is passion indeed.
Game of Thrones fans will not have to wait long for the show to return. It comes back in just a couple months – on April 6. According to the clip, it will air at 9 PM, but do check your local listings.
