Oh, Liars, the summer of answers has ended and it was so satisfying with the 'Who is A?' thing, except for the part where there's a mystery 'he' now. I'll get back to that. So, I binge watched this entire show in the last two weeks to be able to watch this episode. I'm a new fan. This will be more of a season review/recap and then a one episode recap. But when we start back in the 5-year time jump, these will be weekly.
Season 6A was all about getting answers and we did get them but at the very end. The beginning of the season was about escaping the dollhouse and learning more about the existence of Ali's estranged sibling. The reveal wasn't exactly what I'd hoped for, but the answers were good. So, CeCe is A. What this means is that CeCe is also Charles and became Charlotte. Her story is truly heartbreaking. This season was amazing, really the whole show! I am glad I didn't have to wait 5 years for the reveal and only two weeks, but I want to know, were those of you who have been in it from the beginning satisfied?
What we learned and didn't learn:
CeCe hit Ali with the rock thinking it was Bethany (crazy Radley girl)
Bethany pushed Toby's mom off the roof and blamed it on Charles causing Charles' death and Charlotte's beginning.
Mona was the original A tormenting Ali and thought she'd killed Ali, but she killed Bethany.
We don't know who killed Mrs. D.
We don't know what role Sara really plays in all of this other than the fact that she isred
CeCe had a chance to start over but couldn't resist being with her family which was going well until Bethany showed up.
Mr. D never learned about Cece. He probably knows now.
In the 5-year time jump, Ali is married and she's a teacher.
There is someone new after Ali. Who?
CeCe tormented the Aria, Spencer, Hannah and Emily because it was the deal she made to get Mona's help in getting out of Radley. The problem was, she liked the game too much.
Y'all are the moms going to spend 5 years in the basement?
The show did a nice job with the finale though it seemed rushed and probably would have been better as a two-hour event. Start your theories, liars because there is more to know.
I can't wait to write you weekly recaps and really get into this story. Stay tuned for the Winter of Answers... I'm just starting a new trend. By the way, did anyone else miss Ezra as much as I did?
