The wedding dress worn by Princess Diana 33 years ago is to be given to her  sons, Princes William and Harry.

The Telegraph noted that the David and Elizabeth Emanuel-designed wedding gown will be in the care of her brother, Earl Spencer, until Prince Harry’s 30th birthday on September 15.

The beautiful dress has been part of an exhibition, “Diana: the Celebration” which tours the world. It most recently appeared at the Cincinnati Museum Centre.

Other objects from the exhibition will be given to the sons on September 15, including 28 other dresses and diamond tiaras. They will also receive more personal effects including home videos and letters. Adorable!

Prince Harry is also rumoured to be receiving  £10 million, not bad as far as birthday gifts go!

Makes the £10 from my brother look a little feeble… However his money will  be placed in a trust, just like William’s own was in 2012.
