@tlcm_16Unless you've been living under a rock for the past couple years, you know the talent that is Mr. Chris Colfer. Actor, singer, writer and sass master, Colfer can really do it all it seems. And tonight you can see the result of his latest endeavour, writing an episode of the hit show Glee. After penning a full movie script (Struck By Lightning), a TV episode seems a less daunting task overall, but it isn't one that he as actively looking for. "I never wanted to do this, or gave any indication that I wanted to do it. It’s not my world, these aren’t my characters and I thought I’d hate tampering with it or ruining it. But then they came to me and said, “Would you be interested in writing an episode? We want you to.” It was an opportunity that I could not turn down." And since he was given the opportunity, he wasn't going to waste the chance to make his character Kurt Hummel front-and-centre, "Everyone knows I’m a very selfish writer, so the main storyline is about Kurt being down on his luck and looking for something to validate him as a performer." The validation Kurt is looking for comes in a very 'Colfer-esque' way, at an assisted living centre during their production of Peter Pan. This isn't your average assisted living centre either, it houses some heavy hitters with the likes of Billy Dee Williams, June Squibb and Tim Conway calling the residence home. Considering the restrictions he was given ("...I couldn’t break up with Blaine and I couldn’t kill anyone.") the episode sounds like it's going to be awesome. Besides the crew saying the episode "...reminded them of a Glee episode from Season 1," his fellow male cast members are IN LOVE with the whole episode too. We all know that Darren, Chord and Kevin are huge Star Wars nerd so having Billy Dee Williams (aka Lando Calrissian) on set had them all geeking out! Check out the full behind-the-scenes action below and tune in to Glee tonight at 8pm EST to see the elderly and puppies, LOTS of puppies.
