Ravenswood Teases With Newly Released Photos

ABC Family released the first picture of Ravenswood earlier today, which portrays Caleb walking through a graveyard. This, admittedly, isn’t too out of character for him, even if he’s not in Rosewood anymore.

Taylor Blackburn, who plays Caleb Rivers, seems to be strolling through the cemetery with Nicole Gale Anderson (Miranda). Even though Blackburn began on Pretty Little Liars as a recurring cast member, and only became a regular character in season 3, the spin-off series is about Caleb growing up more than anything else.

“Yes, he’s been helping the PLLs for a couple of years…but now this is very personal. The stakes become a lot higher for him, and I really foresee him turning into a man now and having to really fend for himself and protect other people, too.”

Unlike Pretty Little Liars, which is based around a group of girls who realise they are connected to an evil curse, Ravenswood has more of a supernatural feel to it. Blackburn likes this difference, telling Entertainment Weekly, “I love supernatural stuff and this is like my favourite kind because it’s not horror or vampires or werewolves.”
