The second season of The 100 just concluded with its insanely epic two-part season finale, and introduced an entirely new storyline for the third season, with an introduction to…

Spoilers below, if you haven’t watched the finale! artificial intelligence that facilitated the downfall of earth! The characters of Murphy (Richard Harmon) and Jaha (Isaiah Washington) are the only two to arrive to this new uncharted location; showrunner Jason Rothenberg announced via twitter that the actor (Harmon) will remain on the cast next season, now officially promoted to a series regular, instead of the guest starring capacity he’s filled for the first couple of seasons. Murphy fans can officially celebrate, as he survived an insane journey through space, desert, ocean, and now is on to the depths of the third season! This obviously doesn’t mean he’s safe, as The 100 proves to throw twists at us regularly, but this guarantees us with more Murphy, so bring on more of our favorite, adorably sarcastic troublemaker. Congratulations to the talented actor on a well-deserved promotion! Season 3 of The 100 will return with an unspecified amount of episodes later this year on The CW network. Go catch up now, if you aren’t watching already, because you’re seriously missing out!
