Grammy award winning, pop superstar, Ricky Martin, has just released his newest single ‘Come With Me’. Debuting yesterday on Australian radio, ‘Come With Me’ is the lead single from Martin’s upcoming tenth studio album, which is expected to be released sometime later this year.
Ricky has spent the last few months in Australia where he has been serving as one of the judges/coaches on the Australian version of The Voice. Since Keith Urban’s departed to American Idol. Luckily for fans of Martin, he has managed to find the time to head into the studio in between episodes.
Making no secret of his love for Australia and his want to work with Australian artists and musicians, ‘Come With Me’ is indeed an all Aussie affair. The song is produced by local songwriting and production company DNA (Anthony Agizii and David Musumeci) who have a vice- like grip on the Australian pop charts. DNA have been the force behind the likes of Johnny Ruffo, Guy Sebastian, Reece Mastin and Timomatic. Also joining in on the collaborative production team is Ilan Kidrom from the Potbelleez.
When describing his newest release, Martin says it’s “high energy, the sound of freedom, liberating. It is sexy”
Following the conclusion of The Voice, Martin will then take to the road on a national tour of Australia. He will kick off in Melbourne on October 5.
‘Come With Me’ is now available on iTunes.
