Rihanna and Azealia Banks took to social media to fight with one another after Banks shamed RiRi for her tweet on President Trump.
She's not the first celebrity to express her hated of our new President. Many have been expressing their feelings on him quite openly on social media and even in acceptance speeches at awards.
But to Azealia, Rihanna seemed to be the last straw. She took to Twitter to show her disgust with the Muslim Ban and didn't hold anything back. Her now deleted reply was, "As far as Rihanna (who isn’t a citizen, and can’t vote) and all the rest of the celebrities who are using their influence to stir the public, you lot really REALLY need to shut up and sit down."
Disgusted! The news is devastating! America is being ruined right before our eyes! What an immoral pig you have to be to implement such BS!!— Rihanna (@rihanna) January 29, 2017
Banks' account has been suspended on Twitter (again!). The feud took a spin when Rihanna pointed out that she herself was an immigrant and that she took offense to what Trump was doing.
For someone like Banks, it isn't exactly surprising that she's caught in a social media war. She's been known to fight with people on the Internet and says what she wants and thinks no one will fight her on it. Clearly Rihanna didn't care and fought back.
At one point during the feud, Banks made fun of Rihanna's upbringing, "playing soccer in a dirt field."
So, in true Rihanna fashion, she showed why she is an amazing person and shared a video of her playing soccer in a dirt field with children in Northern Malawi.
The entire feud is pretty one-sided from the looks of it. Rihanna just continued to throw shade but never took to the name calling that Banks did.
Instead, she shared these pictures and that tweet to show that she heard Banks but wasn't going to engage her.
It all clearly infuriated Azealia Banks, who went on to post about it all on Instagram, saying that she knew what RiRi was doing. She has since deleted the posts.
