Sad news has slowly been making its way into the hearts of just about every ’90s kid that grew up watching Nickelodeon. Voice actress, Christine Cavanaugh, most famous for playing the voice of Chuckie Finster on Nickelodeon’s The Rugrats, has died from complications from Leukemia, according to USA Today.
In addition to her voice work on Rugrats, you may also remember her voice as Oblina in “Aaahh…Real Monsters,” and Dexter in “Dexter’s Laboratory.” The list goes on and on.
She leaves behind no children, but she was Godmother to a close friend’s child. Her co-stars, E.G. Daily, voice of Tommie Pickles, and Tara Strong, voice of Dil Pickles, spoke out on Twitter about their memories working with her.

Following Cavanaugh’s retirement in 2001, she had lived her life out of the media spotlight. After a career full of awesome talent and unforgettable childhood roles, she will most certainly not be forgotten, and will continue to live on through her art, as well as in every ’90s kids’ heart.
