James Corden is known now for taking his guests on The Late Show with James Corden for a ride and singing along to the radio while still conducting an interview.
We've seen Mariah Carey in his ride but now it's Rod Stewart's turn! Stewart, of course, is a legend, and he just looked like he was in his zone jamming in the car. The pair belted out 'The First Cut is the Deepest,' even jamming to the guitar solo. This is the video you didn't know your Thursday was missing.
Rod Stewart gave some candid info about his rock n' roll days, which he summed up to "shagging and drinking" with some hotel trashing thrown in. Corden asked why the rock stars threw TVs out hotel room windows and Stewart explained the simplicity of it: a lack of respect.
The track "In a Broken Dream" came on and A$AP Rocky popped up in the backseat to do some rapping and disappeared almost as quickly. Then Rod and James got a little handsy before singing another tune where Rod Stewart made me LMAO!
The video slayed me when the pair began singing my favorite Stewart song, "Maggie May!"
Watch it for yourself! It'll help get you to the weekend!
