Rosie O'Donnell has made her thoughts on Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump public in the past, and she is backing her previous comments up with the new ones. She says, “He will never be president.”
O’Donnell ran into Carly Steel from ET at the opening night performance of the newest musical comedy on Broadway, Disaster! When asked by Steel what she would do if Trump found his way into the Oval Office, O’Donnell could not even allow herself to entertain the situation.
O’Donnell and Trump have had a long history of feuding, which dates back at least a decade. This feud has taken place largely in public, and there have been a lot of insults and jabs from both sides.
The most recent jab came from Trump, who mocked his adversary during the GOP’s first debate in August. The comments actually sparked controversy for the Republican presidential candidate, as it was FOX News' Megyn Kelly, with whom he also has a public feud, who confronted him about the hateful and sexist comments he had made in the past, including toward O’Donnell.
In addition to sharing her thoughts on Trump and his potential presidency, she also talked about the relationship she has with her daughter, Chelsea, who made headlines last fall after running away from her home. O’Donnell told Steel, “My whole family is good.”
An avid fan of the theater, O’Donnell also gave the ET cameras an impromptu rendition of the song “Alexander Hamilton,” which is the opening number from the Broadway musical, Hamilton, which is one of the most popular shows currently on Broadway.
Rosie O'Donnell claims, “If I could go [see Hamilton] once a week, I would.” She also said that she had seen the musical 14 times! That must be a great show!
