Andre “Andre 3000” Benjamin and Antwan “Big Boi” Patton, the duo who make up Outkast, are in talks to reunite at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2014, multiple sources have told Billboard.
However, reps for Outkast, their current label, Epic, and Coachella organizer, Goldenvoice, have not commented on the reunion. According to the music magazine, they will play additional festival dates after Cachella.
Outkast is best known for their Billboard Hot 100 topping singles, “Hey Ya!” and “The Way You Move.”
The two went on a hiatus in 2007 to work on solo careers, after a 2006 album release. It was rumored last year that their would be another Outkast album but Andre 3000 addressed the rumors saying, “as of right now, there are no plans for another Outkast album.”
