MERLE IS BACK!!!!!
'RuPaul's Drag Race' rolled on towards the finish line tonight, and with this weeks main challenge, we were ALL in for some fun!!
After a very sexy mini challenge involving a whole slew of Pit Crew members in nothing but their underwear, RuPaul informed the queens that they would be acting out a RuHollywood Story.....
Focusing on former 'Drag Race' judge Merle Ginsberg!!
The queens were split into 3 groups:
Fame/Pearl/Jaidynn, Max/Violet/Kandy, Ginger/Katya/Kennedy
Each group would act out a different scenario that led to Merle's departure from the show, and what saw now current judge Michelle Visage take up residency.
It was time for each group to rehearse their stories for judge Ross Matthews, and.....
They were all a tad rough.
Now, don't get me wrong, there were a few standouts (Katya, Pearl, Ginger) but MANY rough spots (Kennedy, Jaidynn, Miss Fame). And can we discuss Max's interpretation of Merle?
LAWD.......what the HELL was that?!
Following the disaster that was rehearsals, the queens had to prepare for their runway looks in which they would be serving:
Death Becomes Her realness!!!
Who DOESN'T love that piece of golden cinema from Meryl Streep & Goldie Hawn!?
The queens strutted their best death looks and while some of them just barely passed (Katya, Ginger), others TANKED (Kennedy, Kandy) there were a select few that absolutely wowed, like Violet:
Seriously, that waist!?
It was time for the judges to observe the videos, and watching them in their entirety only proved who the superstars are and who needs to sashay away.
After some critiques from our judges, Ru revealed that Team Ginger was the winning team with Katya being the challenge winner.
But who would have to lip sync for their life?
Third time in the bottom Kandy Ho battled Jaidynn to the tune of Ariana Grande's "Break Free".
In the end, Kandy's epic lip sync skills couldn't save her from elimination yet again, and Jaidynn triumphed over her.
Are you guys happy with this weeks elimination?
OR do you think Jaidynn should have gone home?
