That pretty much sums up the episode, because there was no mini challenge!
RuPaul’s Drag Race is inching closer to the 7th season finale, and this week, the 8 remaining queens delivered their BEST celebrity impressions for the legendary ‘Snatch Game’!!
Would we see some standouts this year, like Chad Michaels’ Cher? Or maybe some Adore Delano as Anna Nicole Smith?
There was already plenty of drama among the queens as Violet and Fame were revealed they had planned to portray Donatella Versace. It seemed the problem was over, as Fame backed out and went with a different choice….
Until Mama Ru reminded Fame that………
Violet revealed that there was another character that she could do, and that was Drag Race alum, the fabulous Alyssa Edwards. But who would Violet go with?
The final reveal of characters was:
Kennedy – Little Richard
Katya – Suze Orman
Max – Sharon Needles
Ginger – Adele
Jaidynn – Raven Symone
Miss Fame – Donatella Versace
Pearl – Big Ang
Violet – Alyssa Edwards
First impressions?
Violet, Kennedy, Katya, and Pearl were KILLING yours truly, while Ginger was doing a great job as well. Max and Miss Fame were REALLY struggling, while Katya was funny as well, but not what I expected.
Guest judges Tamar Braxton and “Ugly Betty” alum Michael Urie were part of the game, and Michael’s constant laughing was really adding to it.

Kennedy really was coming ALIVE as Little Richard , while Ginger really brought the laughs as Adele. Miss Fame completely fell apart, and couldn’t even get the Italian accent right.
Top 3 Snatch Game contestants were Kennedy, Ginger and Pearl. Honorable mentions go to Katya and Violet. Max, Miss Fame and Jaidynn were in trouble.
It was time for the very special Lace & Leather runway!!
Standouts were Ginger, Miss Fame and Violet, but what would come of the judges’ critiques?
Well, Violet and Pearl were the only ones announced as safe, while the judges critiques the others. For the first time, Max received some criticism, and it didn’t go over well. Max needed to take a moment to loosen the corset, before breaking into song to break the tension.
Quite the odd moment.
Kennedy was announced as the winner of the challenge for her HILARIOUS portrayal as Little Richard……but she wasn’t alone. Ginger was announced as a JOINT winner in the first tie!!
It was time for the bottom two reveal though.
Jaidynn and Max wound up in the bottom, but yours truly really felt Fame could have easily taken one of those spots.
After a heavily fought battle, Max was asked to sashay away, but that wasn’t the end of the drama.
Ru revealed to her final 7 queens that she had made a mistake, and wanted to bring back one of the former queens…..
So who would it be?
Tempest……Trixie……Kandy…..Sasha…..Jasmine….Kasha?
