The original Blade Runner starring Harrison Ford came out in 1982 directed by Ridley Scott and they're now working on a sequel.
Harrison Ford is set to return alongside Ridley Scott, but Ryan Gosling confirmed some exciting news--he's joining the film.
The film will be set a few decades after the first one, which was set in the future of 2019, just three years away. The film will begin production next summer with no release date as of yet.
Ridley Scott revealed that the sequel will open the same way the original film did, but with the addition of Ryan Gosling. But he added, "I'm not going to say anything else – you'll have to go see the movie."
I am not going to lie, I haven't seen the first film and that's shameful with how big of a Harrison Ford fan I am. But now, I have very big motivation to check it out. I think Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford will make a great team unless they are enemies, in which case, that could be cool too.
Clearly, I need to go home and watch the first movie right away.
Are y'all excited about the sequel to Blade Runner? Isn't it great that Harrison Ford is bringing all of our friends back to the big screen?
