San Francisco Giants Are World Series Champs Once More | world series

It took 7 games and a decent amount of nail biting, but the San Francisco Giants defeated the Kansas City Royals in the World Series, becoming champions once again. Taking first blood, the Giants won game 1 but the Royals rallied back to win both games 2 and 3. The Giants took game 4 and 5, pretty much securing their place once again in the winner's circle. However, the Royals beat the crap out of them in game 6, leading the ultimate series in baseball to one final showdown. The Giants won game 7 with a score of 3-2. If you're a fan of baseball, that's a perilously close game and I have no doubt it induced an incredible amount of stress in both San Francisco and Kansas City. This is the 3rd World Series that the Giants have won in 5 years, officially marking them as a dynasty. And as a Cubs fan and by default, a National League fan, this is great. At least it isn't the Yankees. Congrats, San Fran! Party it up tonight, because the leagues are going to be gunning after you once again when spring rolls around.
