Sarah Reeves Gets Festive With New EP

“This is what Christmas is about – welcoming everyone, making traditions and priceless memories.”

Knock, knock! Who’s there? Chris. Chris who? Christmas is here! Don’t get alarmed; this is good news. It’s finally acceptable (at least to some anyway!) to put our cozies on and play all the Christmas music we want. Feeling festive herself, Nashville-based singer and songwriter Sarah Reeves has put her own spin on Christmas music with a new EP, ‘More The Merrier.’

There are countless Christmas albums to choose from, especially when people are covering the classics for the sake of things. But in the case of Sarah Reeves and her ‘More The Merrier’ project, it is a record that stands out. Throughout the entire eight-track-long body of work, she slays (sleighs, geddit?) with her stunning vintage-yet-modern sound and vocals delicate as clouds. Her versions of “My Favorite Things”, “Holy Joly Christmas” and “Winter Wonderland” are three stand-out tracks on the collection and perfect additions to your Christmas playlists.

As an artist with an impressive career and who has showcased her talents through an array of genres including house, which has seen her work with high-profile DJs such as Laidback Luke, GATTÜSO and Justice Skolnik, ‘More The Merrier’ allows her to add ‘festive’ music to her already fantastic range and it’s a record she’s immensely proud of. “It’s my favorite project of my career thus far,” Reeves shares. “After a year that made Christmas hard for many, this year is a time of celebration again.” She adds of the title track, the video for which PopWrapped are delighted to premiere: “I hope this song brings people together. This is what Christmas is about – welcoming everyone, making traditions and priceless memories.”
