Kristin Davis is making her long-awaited return to our TV screens, she’s been cast in the TV adaption of the 2011 film, Bad Teacher which starred Cameron Diaz. The single-camera show is being written/produced by Hilary Winston (Happy Endings, My Name is Earl).
Ari Graynor (Whip It, Fringe) will play Meredith (formerly Diaz’s character in the movie, but they’ve changed the name for some reason) a self-centred gold digger who becomes a teacher in order to find a new man, after being left penniless due to her recent divorce.
Davis will play Ginny, an overly nice history teacher and also the only person standing in Meredith’s way. The two clash, and Ginny becomes the arch-nemesis of lead character, Meredith. I’ve seen the film, watched SATC etc. and think Kristin Davis is the perfect choice for Ginny, she can pull off the whole goody two-shoes/bitchy character, and I’m sure she will shine in this role!
