Scary Spice Teases at a Possible Future Spice Reunion

There’s just no such thing as “too much” of the Spice Girls.

Scary Spice herself, Mel B, appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show the other day and professed her desire for another reunion.

“I’m hoping in the next year or two, when everyone’s cleared their diary a little bit [we’ll reunite],” she told Ellen.

The statement went down well with the audience (we may have also screamed a little…) and Ellen encouraged Mel B to bring all her bandmates onto her chat show for a performance soon.

The “Viva Forever” stars formed their band back in 1994 and went on to become the biggest girl group in the world. Their debut record, Spice remains the biggest-selling album by a female group in music history, shifting over 28 million copies world wide.

Having sold a massive 80 million records to date, beating Destiny’s Child by 20 million, the Spice Girls are often referred to as the biggest girl group of all time.

Mel C, also known as Sporty Spice famously reported that it is Victoria Beckham who often prevents the group reuniting because of her reluctance to perform.

“I don’t know. It’s no surprise to anyone that Victoria’s heart isn’t in performing anymore, she’s gone on to be so successful in fashion,” Mel C claimed.

They briefly reunited at the 2012 London Olympics Closing Ceremony, with an epic performance you can relive here:

We really hope they do “wannabe” back together soon. We miss the 90s Girl Power!
