Finding a love for music at a young age, and eventually joining Rock and Roll legeneds like The Go Go’s on stage, Scout Lyons has quite the story to tell behind the artistry that she embodies. The young artist who fell in love with music at a early age was quickly had to put her dreams on hold when she was later diagnosed with a brain tumor.
After undergoing her surgeries and treatment, she never lost her fire inside and passion for music. Using her life experiences she continued to write. Scout was 17 when she released her debut single “Do My Thang” and has been dropping music ever since! “Cliché” Scout’s new single shows off her creative spunk that she embodies.
Taking inspiration from the pop punk movement, skate culture, and everything Y2K, she also dropped alongside the single an exciting music video including mermaids, aliens, and escaping a room filled with laser beams, easily grasping the attention of the viewer/listener and it is very exciting to see how she tops this release.
“Cliché is a spunky ode to the y2k era! I wrote this song during covid quarantine and it’s kinda about running and getting nowhere/having nowhere to go. The music video which I shot at timezone in RI is my fav video I’ve done yet! We had the coolest set ever to work with and it was definitely the most fun I’ve ever had shooting! I always get my friends involved and they help me with makeup/hair/putting on a giant dinosaur head (ahaha)”. – Scout Lyons.
Cliché, the latest single from Scout Lyons is now available on all major music streaming platforms. If you want to follow along Scout’s journey, you can follow her Twitter, YouTube, as well as Instagram.
