You HAVE To See These 101 Dalmatians Engagement Photos

This couple has taken the prize for the best Disney themed engagement photos – 101 Dalmatians style! Dogs, a meet cute, and some great photography inside

101 Dalmatians has always been a personal favorite of mine, but we all know that scene where Roger and Anita first meet. You know, the disgustingly cute one when Pongo practically forces them to kiss one another? Of course you do. Watch it again for a refresher (and because it’s cute!).

Well, Corinne Jones and her fiance Tony Collier recreated the scene for their engagement photos, and it is phenomenal.

Of course, they changed it up and used their own dogs, Izzy and Mookie.

I seriously don’t think they could have asked for a better photo.

“I’ve always loved that Roger and Anita were not the typical fairy tale — they were believable characters who didn’t just come together merely by wishing on a star and casting a magic spell,” Jones said, “Pongo had to take the first step.”

The two of them (obviously) love Disney; they both worked at Magic Kingdom after graduation, and Collier, during a scavenger hunt proposal, set up a wicked ending: a photo of Jones as Cruella de Vil, who she said is her favorite character. She said:

It ended with a picture of me as Cruella de Vil, my favorite character, and he as one of my henchmen Horace saying, he didn’t want a princess, he wanted a villain.

Corinne, I love these photos — they’re absolutely adorable — but I think I speak for many when I say I would love to see this Cruella photo!

“Izzy and Mookie, although a bit older, pudgier, and sans spots, are the greatest family pets and we wanted to make them an indelible part of our memories,” Jones said.

Corinne and Tony didn’t stop at getting tangled in the leashes, they reenacted (almost) the entire scene, including getting drenched in water. Rather than jumping in the lake, they dumped buckets of water on themselves to get the full effect of scene.

As for their wedding theme, they’re unsure. Jones said:

Honestly, we hadn’t planned much beyond these photos. We might incorporate some Disney aspects into our shower, bachelor, and bachelorette party, but as for the wedding, we’ll just have to wait and see. We’ve always been huge Disney fans and we don’t see that changing anytime soon!

Collier’s cousin, Melissa Biggerstaff, took these gorgeous photos at Lake Katherine, which is located in Illinois.

It really is perfect though, isn’t it? This is truly a fantastic idea and perfectly executed!
