Sentai Filmworks has added two new, soon-to-be-premiered anime series to their slate! Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto (Sakamoto desu ga?) and Tanaka-kun is Always Listless (Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge) have both been licensed for home-video release by Sentai.

Tanaka-kun is Always Listless will be a part of Sentai’s simulcast through digital means. It is unknown as to if Sakamoto will take part in the simulcast.

The manga series Sakamoto is based on, by Nami Sano, has been licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment with the third volume being released on April 26. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the plot of Sakamoto as the following:

First year high school student Sakamoto isn’t just cool, he’s the coolest! Almost immediately after starting school, he began attracting everyone’s attention. The girls love him, and most of the boys resent him. There’s even a boy in the class who works as a model, but who is constantly upstaged by Sakamoto!

No matter what tricks the other boys try to play on him, Sakamoto always manages to foil them with ease and grace. Though Sakamoto may seem cool and aloof, he helps others when asked, such as in the case of the boy in his class who was being constantly bullied. No matter what difficulties Sakamoto encounters, he moves through his high school life with confidence and class!”

Sakamoto is Nami Sano’s first manga series that published its fourth and final volume December 14, 2015.

Tanaka-kun is Always Listless is based on a web-manga series by Nozomi Uda that is being published by Square Enix. Crunchyroll, who will also be streaming the series, described the plot of Tanaka-kun as an “unconventional, surrealist comedy [that] follows an exhausted high school boy who, despite multiple attempts from his friends, still manages to spectacularly… sleep. Much to the chagrin of the energetic (at times bossy) Ohta, Tanaka is often found in a blissful state of lethargy, possessing the ability to doze off in any situation, especially in mid-sentence!”

Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto will premiere April 8 and Tanaka-kun is Always Listless is slated to premiere in Japan on April 9.
