Sesame Street has always had a amazing history of creating clever TV show parodies, which in recent years have included those of Mad Men and Sons of Anarchy. Even with parodies like those, Sesame Street may have just outdone itself with its latest target - Showtime's award-winning series Homeland. Except, this time it’s Homelamb. Today, the show revealed its latest take on the popular show with Homelamb,  a funny and surprisingly accurate portrayal of the Showtime drama … except its main characters are sheep. The parody definitely gets it right with a jazzy theme song and lamb versions of Carrie, Saul, David Estes, and a motley crew of sheep agents. The herd is looking to capture the Big Ba-a-ad Wolf, who is still on the lamb. With no solid leads, they must turn to Special Sheep Agent Nicholas Ba-a-a-rody. Carrie, one of the main sheep, can't help but be drawn to Ba-a-a-rody, but the question is, is he really who he seems? The dialogue is crisp and clean which includes our heroine trying to explain to her co-workers that this stranger is "not the sheep you think he is.” I bet if these characters did exist, lamb Carrie would likely win a Emmy for the role. She does a great job of conveying the character’s bipolar disorder while referring  to the criminal relationship between herself and Ba-a-a-rody. Does that mean there could be more than just one showing of this amazing parody? The world may never know… or they could wait until Thursday to find out. http://www.Twitter.com/PopWrapped http://www.PopWrapped.Tumblr.com/ http://www.SoundCloud.com/PopWrapped http://www.Facebook.com/PopWrapped http://www.Instagram.com/PopWrapped http://www.Pinterest.com/PopWrapped http://www.YouTube.com/PopWrapped http://www.PopWrapped.wordpress.com/ http://www.PopWrapped.com
