Seth Glier Unveils His Emotive New Single “Til Further Notice”

“..Never have I felt a time where we are all collectively so emotionally exposed to this feeling of uncertainty. I believe that uncertainty is the place where hope lives and crawls out of from time to time.”

Over the course of his career, Seth Glier has achieved quite a lot. With 5 albums under his belt, a US State Department sponsored tour to his name and five – yes, five – Independent Music Awards somewhere pride of place in his house (I’m guessing), he knows what it takes to reach an audience and achieve a considerable amount of success. He also has an impressive “toured with” resume, with names such as James Taylor, Marc Cohn and Martin Sexton just some of the artists listed upon it.

2020 is shaping up to be a big year for Glier with several releases planned in the coming months including two singles, “If It Wasn’t For You”, inspired by Malala Yousafzai, and “Stages”, both of which are available on 7 inch vinyl at his live shows, while we here at PopWrapped are delighted to premiere the live video for “Til Further Notice”.

Glier wrote the track shortly after he heard about the death of John Prine and is heavy on the emotive lyrics which hit hard thanks to a simple piano melody and a warm vocal delivery. All the proceeds from the single will benefit the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, which provides financial assistance to all those in the music industry – workers and artists alike – during difficult times.

Seth says of the song: “We’ve heard the words ‘Til Further Notice’ a lot in the past few weeks. They’ve become a signal of prolonged uncertainty and a mantra as we shift to a new rhythm in our daily lives. Never have I felt a time where we are all collectively so emotionally exposed to this feeling of uncertainty. I believe that uncertainty is the place where hope lives and crawls out of from time to time.”
