Courtesy of blogs.indiewire.comLisa Kudrow is scheduled to return with her critically-acclaimed television series, The Comeback, on HBO. The second season of the show comes 9 years after the first season premiered back in 2005, and it seems Seth Rogen will be a guest star on it.
Apparently, the Superbad star has landed a role in the second season of The Comeback. Rogen will be playing himself, who auditions to play Vaerie Cherish’s opponent Paulie G, in a couple of episodes. The show he’s cast for is supposedly one of HBO’s forthcoming releases, actually written by Paulie G himself. Just in case you got confused, Paulie G is a character from The Comeback played by Lance Barber, and he’s written a television show in the series that includes himself as a character; Rogen is cast for that role.
The Comeback will not only see Lisa Kudrow and Lance Barber reprising their original roles, but Malin Akerman and Kellan Lutz will also return in the series. If anything, it will definitely be an interesting ride to see Valerie Cherish trying to make yet another comeback – and hilarious indeed!
