Shake It Up's Roshon Fegan Set To Debut New Single

Eric Campbell

Staff Writer

Triple-Threat actor/singer/dancer Roshon Fegan is about to become a household name with the release of his upcoming single “Bout That”, an up-tempo R&B song that is set to take America by storm. Written, mixed, and produced by the 22-year old singer, “Bout That” shows fans that his passion for music remains strong. He tells KTLA during an interview that making his album without a record label, “…gives me complete freedom and creative control.” Whether it is the fresh beat or the debut rapping skills in the bridge, Roshon has proved one thing: he has grown into a young man who knows what he wants. Gaining national attention as a child star for seven years, the singer is transitioning away from his childhood image with a more adult sound. Roshon stated in his interview with KTLA:  “Music is something I’ve done all my life. But I haven’t really taken that step to [say], ‘Here I am!’ So now I’m taking those steps and people are hearing the songs I wrote and produced myself, they’re kinda confused.” And taking a cue from other music stars, Roshon believes that the music defines true artistry —“I think the extremity is within the music, within the passion. If you love it and you work hard enough, I think the truth is in the pudding. If you have great music, it’s going to be heard.” “Bout That” will give listeners a chance to dance in their car down main street or get pumped up right before a big first date. One thing is for sure—“Bout That” will definitely by one of the hottest songs released at the beginning of the year. Fans can expect to download Rohson’s new single, “Bout That”, on iTunes this Sunday!
