Oh, my!  This movie was too much and then just enough!  Syfy aired Sharknado 3 on July 22nd and it trended all night on Twitter.

The heroes you love are back including an old friend.  The film opened with Finn (Ian Ziering) on his way to receive an award (golden chainsaw) from the President (Mark Cuban from Shark Tank).    The opening sequence makes you think a sharknado is coming but not quite yet.  Finn accepts his award and Lou Ferrigno is there as security even throwing out the line, "You won't like me when I'm angry."  After the party is taken down by sharks, Finn and the President fight the sharks in an epic scene.

April (Tara Reid) is in Orlando for her daughter's birthday and heavily pregnant.  Her mom is there, too, played by Bo Derek.  Fun fact:  They totally recast the daughter for this film.  Claudia is now played by Ryan Newman.  She's a rebel presently and her brother is away serving the country.

The first half of this movie for me was too much like the 2nd one, which I didn't love.  However, the second half is just like the first Sharknado and it's pure magic.  The film got back to its roots even bringing back Cassie Scerbo as Nova, still not a stripper!  The celebrity cameos were everywhere.  I don't want to spoil the Hoff's epic role for anyone of the 5 people who haven't seen it yet.  Another fun fact:  There's a cute little scene with a 3 headed shark (yes, that was a movie earlier in the week) and a certain author who needs to get writing before winter gets here.

Watch it and just enjoy it!  Syfy announced Sharknado 4 last night as the film ended and...

Spoilers!!!!

April may not make it to the next one.  You have to take to Twitter to tweet #AprilLives or #AprilDies to see if Tara Reid makes it to the next movie.  She did just have a baby in a shark while in space, so maybe a little more Tara Reid in our future?  Also, was there someone you loved that isn't in the films anymore...like Baz?  Our lovable Jason Simmons would be so good to have back in the next installment.  Add a little #BazLives in you Twitter votes!
