The BBC have announced the exact time of the long awaited Sherlock Season 3 premiere episode “The Empty Hearse;” and also the news of a special little Christmas present for all us Sherlock fans.
We already knew that the return of Benedict Cumberbatch’s Holmes would be on New Years Day for UK viewers, however we now have confirmation that the episode will air at 9 PM, so we will have plenty of time to recover from our Hogmanay hangovers.

That is not all Sherlock fans, BBC One has JUST announced in the last 45 minutes that we will be getting a Sherlock mini episode at Christmas. The minisode is called “Many Happy Returns,” and they are teasing us with “Sherlock has been gone for 2 years. But someone isn’t quite convinced he is dead.”
In addition to our Christmas schedule announcements, we can also confirm that we have a #Sherlock mini episode called 'Many Happy Returns'.
